June Elizabeth: 4 and a half...

My little girl! You are growing up so fast...right before my eyes! You are still kind of a toddler...like the way you say "world" or how you're still running face first into things often, but you are mostly a little girl now... you can count to 10, just about know how to write your name, you get yourself dressed, are almost night-time potty trained, and spend hours and hours lost in playing Barbie with your sister. You love to sleep- you will sleep in past 7 most days if sister doesn't wake you up and the past few nights, you just put yourself to bed at 6pm... I went around looking for you and there you were sound asleep on your bed haha. You also love to annoy your brother and sister and will do things like making Johanna sandwiches by piling pillows and blankets on top of her and then laying on her ;) and stealing toys from Zeke. You love books and if I didn't have to chase your brother around, you would be perfectly happy to sit IN (always in) my lap and listen to me read all day long. You love to be naked- I can't seem to keep you clothed, but we are trying to keep undies on always. You and Johanna will spend at least an hour a day jumping on the trampoline in just undies ha. You also love to make mud baths and get absolutely filthy... we have discovered that you can do it way in the back by the fruit trees now so you've been back there muddy as can be the past few days haha but so much better than right by the house where it looks all nasty and baby gets into it. What else...? You still suck your thumb, but we are actively trying to get you to stop. You are a little picky with your food- you love all fruit, carbs and sweets. and you will gobble down and veggie cooked up in butter, but you love your food all separated and will NOT do casseroles or anything like that ha. you also aren't a huge fan of meat... except when daddy bbqs steak. you only like yellow cheese or "mommy cheese" (aka dubliner), but won't do string cheese. you only like butter on your oatmeal, no raisins! anyway, you love all things cute and pink and purple and prinecss-y. you love to color- although that has been hard lately because brother climbs on the table and messes everything up. but you are really good- staying in the lines and i love it most of all when you have blank pages and create pics- something so magical about seeing what's in that beautiful imagination of yours. You tend to chew on everything... and Johanna gets so mad when all the Barbies have bite marks ha. You have TWO blankets- cloudy and flowery and will cry so hard when one is missing at bedtime- you always want both! you also feel everything so so deeply. We had a bath toy that was all moldy inside and had to throw it away last week and you burst out crying because it was so sad to say goodbye to the toy. i love that about you- you feel so deeply and it will serve you well in life. You have zero interest in doing any formal school work at home. You would love to go to a physical preschool, but hello pandemic... so you just color while Jo does her homeschooling and you are picking up so much. It is fun to watch you learn! I am just blown away by you- you are such a good good gift from God and I could not be more thankful to be your mommy.
